Follow the instructions below to take measurements accurately:
Wear shoes that are the same height as the ones you will wear on the day of the event
Wear an unpadded bra
Wear light, non-bulky clothes
Get help from a relative or friend, if you follow the instructions it is not necessary to have the measurements taken by a tailor
Shoulder width
Measuring your shoulders, with your arms by your sides, measure from shoulder to shoulder. Take the linear measurement, not the circumference!
Bust circumference
With your arms by your sides, measure the circumference of the bust by passing the tape from the most protruding part of the breast and return to the starting point.
Waistline
Arms by your sides measure the narrowest part of the waist, usually located a couple of centimeters above the navel.
Hips circumference
Arms by your sides, measure the circumference of the hips making sure to measure the most protruding part of your buttocks.
From the neck to the floor
Wear a pair of shoes that have high heels like the ones you will wear on the day of the event. Starting from the shoulder perpendicular to the neck, measure the height up to 1 cm from the ground making sure to pass on the most protruding part of the breast. * For short dresses measure to the point where you want the dress to arrive.
Armholes
Starting from the top of the shoulder, pass the centimeter under the armpit until you return to the starting point. Make sure you have your arm stretched across your body.
Sleeve length (only for dresses with sleeves)
Keep your arms by your sides and measure from the shoulder to the point where you want the sleeves of your dress to end.
